IT Field Service –  Project Coordinator

 Base Salary: $40,000 – $60,000 | Road Warrior Travel: 75%

This is an entry level position involving field installation and configuration of Insequence proprietary software products. Although the ideal candidate will possess a 4-year degree in engineering or computer information systems, it is not strictly requires. We do, however, expect that all candidates will already possess a great deal of knowledge regarding the Microsoft Windows operation system with a working knowledge of MS SQL and that you will have a good understanding of how computer networks and computer hardware work.

 

Successful candidates must be self-motivated and able to work independently, while regularly reporting your progress to management. Your responsibilities will included interfacing with end users and is is required that you possess polished verbal and written communication skills.

We are especially interested in bilingual (English/German, English/French, English/Spanish) candidates with the ability to facilitate project work in Europe, Mexico, and South America.

 

Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following characteristics:

  1. B.S. or B.A. in either an Engineering or a Computer Information Systems field.
  2. Experienced with industrial PLC’s or a manufacturing background is desirable but not required.
  3. Able to work flexible hours. While not the norm, this job may require occasional night and/or weekend work.
  4. Willing to commute to, live near, or relocate to the Nashville, Tennessee area.
  5. Willing and able to travel extensively for onsite assignments and installation work. Road Warrior Travel will be required.
  6. Able to work well under deadlines. Our software is for high intensity work environments. Under normal conditions this is a relaxed atmosphere, but occasionally there will be short periods of intense pressure to perform. The successful candidate must be able to think clearly and quickly during these times.
  7. Willing to accept a rotational “on-call” position for customer support.
  8. Bi-lingual European languages a plus -not required
  9. Must have a valid driver’s license
  10. Must be able to obtain a passport or currently posses a valid passport.

 

 

Technical Support Specialist – Full/Part Time

This entry level/intern support position involves support and remote implementation/configuration of Insequence proprietary software products in a 24/7 environment. College Students are encouraged to apply. Candidates should possess significant knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system, a working knowledge of MS SQL or basic database knowledge for query writing. Candidate should also have a good understanding of how computer networks and computer hardware work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering support calls and providing solutions for issues ranging from user education and software/hardware (including servers, PCs, hand held scanners, printers) to networking issues.
  • Provide remote implementation/configuration of software on customer systems. Candidate must have a sense of urgency when needed and be able to follow escalation procedures as needed.

We are interested in bilingual (English/German, English/French, English/Spanish, English/Portuguese) candidates with the ability to provide support for customers in Europe, Mexico, and South America.

  1. Possess or be in progress of obtaining a Certificate, B.S. or B.A. in either IT, Engineering or a Computer Information Systems Field.
  2. Experienced with industrial PLC’s or a manufacturing background is desirable but not required.
  3. Able to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays
  4. Willing to commute to, live near, or relocate to the Nashville, Tennessee area.
  5. Willing to assume a rotational “on-call” position for customer support
  6. Able to work well under deadlines. Our software is for high intensity work environments.
